Nein, Glycin und Kollagen sind zwei verschiedene Moleküle. Glycin ist eine Aminosäure, die als Baustein von Proteinen verwendet wird und auch als Neurotransmitter im Körper wirkt. Kollagen ist ein strukturelles Protein, das in vielen Geweben des Körpers, wie zum Beispiel der Haut, dem Bindegewebe und den Knochen vorkommt. Es trägt zur Stärke und Elastizität dieser Gewebe bei.
Glycin ist eine der wichtigsten und am häufigsten vorkommende Aminosäuren in Kollagen (bis zu jede vierte Aminosäure im Kollagen ist Glycin).
